Bolton Clarke in Heathfield (Adelaide Hills) is seeking a dedicated cleaner to support our Hillside Aged Care facility. You will help maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and staff, following infection control practices and daily duties.

Qualifications

• Previous aged care or hotel services experience desirable.
• Must be reliable and able to follow directions.
• Flexible shifts and able to work under pressure.
• Valid working rights in Australia and police check as required.

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas of the facility to a high standard.
• Vacuum, mop, and polish floors.
• Dust and polish surfaces; tidy rooms.
• Clean bathroom facilities.
• Support infection control through hygienic practices.
• Restock cleaning trolleys as required.

The Role

You will be part of a team dedicated to our residents, contributing to a model of care that goes above and beyond every day. Every day you will be making a difference in people’s lives, building fabulous relationships with our residents and their families.

• Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times
• Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors
• Dusting, polishing and general tidying
• Cleaning bathroom facilities
• Attending to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other equipment or furniture located in the residents' room
• Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
• Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous aged care or hotel services experience desirable
• Willingness to take direction from others
• Reliability and shift flexibility
• Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• Pre employment checks- complete a National Police Check
