Job summary

Bolton Clarke in Cleveland, Queensland, is seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain a high standard of cleanliness across a 128-bed residential aged care facility. You will work with residents and staff to ensure a safe, hygienic environment.

Responsibilities include vacuuming, mopping, dusting and bathroom cleaning, with restocking of trolleys and adherence to infection control practices. Reliability, flexibility and prior care or hotel services experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous aged care or hotel services experience desirable.
• Willingness to take direction from others.
• Reliability and shift flexibility.
• Good time management and ability to work under pressure.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• Pre-employment checks; National Police Check.

The Role

• Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times
• Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors
• Dusting, polishing and general tidying
• Cleaning bathroom facilities
• Attending to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other equipment or furniture located in the residents' room
• Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
• Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous aged care or hotel services experience desirable
• Willingness to take direction from others
• Reliability and shift flexibility
• Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• Pre employment checks; complete a National Police Check
