Job summary

Bolton Clarke Group operates a network of aged care facilities. The role at Raffles facility involves maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents and supporting daily care through attention to hygiene and infection control, while adapting to shift requirements.

You will join a dedicated team at a 95-bed residential aged care facility near the Southern Gold Coast beaches, with opportunities to contribute to resident wellbeing and family satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Reliability and flexibility to work shifts
• Ability to manage time effectively in a care setting
• Willingness to follow directions from supervisors
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• Police Check or willingness to obtain one

Responsibilities

• Ensure all areas of the facility are clean and maintained to a high standard
• Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors
• Dusting, polishing and tidying
• Clean bathroom facilities
• Attend to residents' personal needs by keeping bedside areas tidy
• Assist with a safe, hygienic care service through infection control practices

The Role

You will be part of a team dedicated to our residents, contributing to a model of care that goes above and beyond every day. Every day you will be making a difference in people’s lives, building fabulous relationships with our residents and their families.

• Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times
• Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors
• Dusting, polishing and general tidying
• Cleaning bathroom facilities
• Attending to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other equipment or furniture located in the residents' room
• Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
• Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous hotel services experience desirable
• Willingness to take direction from others
• Reliability and shift flexibility
• Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• Valid Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
