Job summary

Bolton Clarke Group is seeking a dedicated cleaner for our Somerton Park aged care facility. You will help maintain a high standard of cleanliness across all areas, supporting residents and a safe, hygienic environment.

Experience in aged care or hotel services is desirable; reliability, flexibility and good time management are essential. You will work with a caring team in a not-for-profit organisation that values diversity and staff wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Previous aged care or hotel services experience desirable.
• Willingness to take direction from others.
• Reliability and shift flexibility.
• Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc).
• Pre employment checks- complete a National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times.
• Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors.
• Dusting, polishing and general tidying.
• Cleaning bathroom facilities.
• Attending to residents’ personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other equipment or furniture located in the residents’ room.
• Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
• Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required.
