Job summary

Bolton Clarke's The Ormsby facility in Buderim, a 136-bed residential aged care home, is seeking a dedicated cleaner to join our team. You will help maintain a high standard of cleanliness across all areas and support a safe, hygienic living environment for residents.

You will work in a friendly team, follow infection control practices, and contribute to our not-for-profit care model with opportunities for career progression and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months experience in a commercial cleaning role.
• Demonstrates a real commitment to working safely.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Passion for making a difference.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times.
• Attend to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables, ensuites and other equipment or furniture located in the residents' room.
• Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
• Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required.
• Provide a high quality, effective and efficient laundry service for residents (including laundry sorting, label checking, washing of personal clothing, linen and kitchen napery, folding and ironing), observing appropriate standards and infection control procedures.
