Job summary

St John of God Subiaco Hospital in Perth Western Australia is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our hospital pharmacy team on a permanent full-time basis. You will provide technical support to pharmacists, handle sterile compounding responsibilities including cytotoxic drugs, and work across wards and departments to ensure safe medication management.

The role offers 38 hours per week, salary range from $74,627 to $85,129 plus 12% superannuation, salary packaging options and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Pharmacology terminology knowledge and clear communication.
• Experience with sterile compounding and documentation.
• Commitment to accurate medication handling and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, label, record and assist in sterile compounding of medications.
• Manage ordering, receipt, storage and inventory control across wards.
• Support dispensing, imprest distribution and delivery of pharmaceuticals.
• Assist with quality assurance, charging processes and reporting.
• Maintain pharmacy operations including equipment cleaning and reception support.
