Job summary

St John of God Subiaco Hospital Subiaco, WA, seeks an Orthopaedic Technician to maintain orthopaedic and neurosurgical equipment and support the surgical team. You will coordinate stock, prepare implants for sterilisation, and assist CSSD staff. A CSSD Sterilisation Certification and recent Orthopaedic Theatre experience are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of orthopaedic equipment and its application.
• Ability to plan and organise work activities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain orthopaedic and neurosurgical equipment and supplies, coordinate ordering and stock receipt.
• Prepare implants and instruments for sterilisation and assist CSSD staff.
• Maintain orthopaedic and neurosurgical records and liaise with representatives for in-service training.
• Ensure inventory control and stock availability for scheduled operations.
• Monitor storage areas and maintain a safe working environment per WHS policies.
