Job summary

Mater is seeking a Guest Services Supervisor in South Brisbane to lead cleaning, patient transport, linen and related services, ensuring excellent customer-focused care for staff, patients and visitors. The role requires flexibility to work am/pm shifts, weekends and nights, with commitment to safety and compliance.

The position offers a permanent full-time contract with a salary range of $35.74–$42.61 per hour, superannuation, and access to not-for-profit salary packaging and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate experience leading and managing a large diverse team.
• Desirable experience in Health/Aged Care or Hotel management in housekeeping/cleaning.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to use standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cleaning, patient transport, linen and waste functions and day-to-day operations.
• Plan, organise, assign and supervise work of staff.
• Ensure service levels meet standards and KPIs; ensure staff training is compliant.
• Ensure compliance with legislative and infectious control requirements.
• Maintain high standard of cleanliness across hospital areas.
• Respond to patient, staff and management requests regarding services policies.
• Advise on process improvements to maintain a clean environment.
• Lead team, delegate tasks, and manage risk and WHS concerns.
