Job summary

The Queensland Government's Tully Hospital invites applications for a role focused on safety and patient support. You will patrol hospital buildings and grounds, respond to fire and non-clinical incidents, and coordinate with emergency services while maintaining clear hospital communications.

You will also operate fire and access control systems, carry out porterage and patient assistance under clinician direction, and support adherence to Queensland Health policies.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hospital buildings and grounds to maintain a safe environment for staff, patients and visitors.
• Undertake initial response to fire and security incidents and act as emergency controller for non-clinical incidents.
• Operate computerised fire and access control, recording, monitoring and communications equipment.
• Conduct regular testing of communication devices.
• Carry out porterage and patient assistance under clinician direction while following Queensland Health policies.
