The Queensland Government's Tully Hospital invites applications for a role focused on safety and patient support. You will patrol hospital buildings and grounds, respond to fire and non-clinical incidents, and coordinate with emergency services while maintaining clear hospital communications.

We believe that we can improve health outcomes by involving our community in the planning and evaluation of their local health services.About your opportunity:In this position you will....Patrol the Tully Hospital buildings and grounds regularly to ensure a safe working environment for staff, patients and visitors.Undertake initial response and containment of fire and security incidents and act as emergency controller for non-clinical incidents until briefing, and where relevant, hand over to a senior state emergency services officer while continuing to maintain effective hospital communication and liaison during the course of the incident.Operate computerised fire and access control, recording, monitoring, surveillance and communications equipment as required. Conduct regular testing of communication devices.Carry out porterage/patient assistance tasks under the direction of a clinician ensuring compliance with Queensland Health polices and procedures.For more information about this role, please refer to the attached Role Description.Using AI for your application?
