Job summary

Epworth Freemasons in East Melbourne invites casual chefs to join the Food Services team, delivering high-quality meals to patients, visitors and staff. You will report to the Head Chef and work across a rotating seven-day roster.

Ideal applicants hold a Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery, a Food Handler Certificate (Level 1) and a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Trade Cook; hospital experience is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Evidence of strong teamwork and collaboration in a hospital kitchen.
• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery and a current Food Handler Certificate (Level 1).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Trade Cook; hospital kitchen experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of food services to patients, visitors and staff.
• Be part of the Food Services team and report to Head Chef.
• Demonstrate passion for exceptional meals and maintain food safety practices.
