Danfoss is seeking an in-house Hose Technician at our Clayton facility in Australia. You’ll join a close-knit team to interpret customer requirements and produce high-quality hydraulic hose assemblies, performing pressure testing and wrapping up with dispatch-ready goods.

The role uses crimpers, measuring devices and testing equipment; you’ll coordinate distribution, complete documentation, and help maintain a safe, efficient warehouse.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience assembling and testing hydraulic and industrial hoses.
• Ability to operate assembly equipment and use measuring devices.
• Forklift license is an advantage but not essential.
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Team player with a strong work ethic.
• Australian Drivers Licence.

Responsabilités

• Select hydraulic hoses and fittings, interpreting specs and schematics.
• Assemble hoses to customer specifications following standards.
• Use crimpers, measuring devices, and testers; conduct pressure tests as needed.
• Coordinate goods for distribution and dispatch; pick and check orders.
• Package goods securely and complete receive/dispatch documentation.
• Assess and resolve quality issues related to onsite hose assembly.

The Impact You'll Make

As our in-house Hose Technician working from our Clayton facility, you’ll play a key role in delivering great customer experiences by providing high-quality, custom hose assemblies. Your impact? You will work with a close-knit team to produce perfectly assembled industrial and hydraulic hoses, from interpreting customer requirements to final pressure testing using tools like crimpers and testers and some general warehouse duties.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Selecting appropriate hydraulic hoses and fittings, and interpreting product specs and hydraulic schematics.
• Assembling hydraulic hoses to customer specifications, following standards and guidelines.
• Using measuring devices and crimping machines accurately, and testing hose assemblies as needed.
• Coordinating goods for distribution to customers, including picking and checking orders before dispatch.
• Packaging goods to ensure safe delivery and completing the receive/dispatch documentation.
• Assess and resolve quality issues relating to onsite hose assembly.

What We're Looking For

• Hands- on experience assembling and testing hydraulic and industrial hoses.
• Ability to operate various types of assembly equipment and use measuring devices.
• A valid forklift license is an advantage but not essential.
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Team player with a strong work ethic.
• Australian Drivers Licence.
