Job summary

Motion is seeking a hands-on hydraulic hose assembler to manufacture, inspect and supply hydraulic hose, fittings and related products to customers in New South Wales. You will help organise workflow to meet deadlines and assist with stock control and equipment maintenance to keep the branch efficient.

You should have a hydraulic or mechanical background with experience in making hydraulic hose assemblies and a commitment to accuracy and quality.

Qualifications

• Hydraulic or mechanical background.
• Experience manufacturing hydraulic hose assemblies.
• Understanding the importance of accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture hydraulic hose assemblies to customer specifications.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specs.
• Pick, pack, and supply hydraulic hoses, fittings and accessories per orders.
• Assist in inventory control and action stock issues to maintain stock integrity.
• Organise workflow to meet customer deadlines.
• Assist with maintenance of equipment and tooling to keep branch efficient.
• Participate in meetings and support sales improvement initiatives.
• Communicate with supervisors, sales, and operations to meet objectives.
• Compile and maintain required paperwork and records.
