Job summary

Citipointe Christian College is seeking a dynamic Homestay Manager to lead the college’s Homestay Program in Brisbane. You will oversee placements, recruit and support homestay families, and collaborate with parents, agents and staff to ensure safe and high-quality international student experiences aligned with the college’s Christ-centred ethos.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong cross-cultural awareness and experience with diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution, mediation, or stakeholder management.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and manage risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Homestay Program to provide safe, supportive and high-quality experiences for international students.
• Recruit, assess, onboard and support suitable homestay families; conduct home visits and training.
• Coordinate homestay placements to support student wellbeing and successful integration into the college community.
• Develop positive relationships with students, parents, agents, homestay families and staff; act as primary contact for inquiries.
• Respond to incidents, concerns and complaints; participate in after-hours support and emergency response processes.
