Endeavour Foundation in Ayr, QLD, is seeking a Site Supervisor - Home to lead a team delivering person-centred care within our SIL Home service. The role is based in Ayr, approx.

one hour from Townsville, with applicants welcome from Townsville and nearby regions who are willing to commute or relocate. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate individualised supports, and foster a positive team culture while ensuring care aligns with each person’s plans and goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Disability sector with complex behaviours and mental health challenges.
• Experience supervising a team and site operations.
• Proven interpersonal and communication skills to grow relationships with team members and stakeholders.
• Problem solving skills with a logical and systematic approach.
• Certificate III in Disability and/or Certificate III in Individual Support highly regarded.
• Availability to work some weekends and overnights.
• Hold or be willing to obtain Working with Children Check, First Aid/CPR, National Criminal History Check and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the financial performance of the SIL Home service site through effective management of operating expenditure in line with budget.
• Ensuring team member awareness of each individual requirement.
• Providing support aligned to each person’s plans, goals and requirements, including personal hygiene and living skills.
• Delivering and encouraging accurate documentation of activities to maintain progress notes and audit trails.

About The Role

As the Site Supervisor - Home, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional support to our clients with both physical and psycho-social disabilities. This position is based in Ayr, approximately one hour south of Townsville, and we welcome applications from candidates located in Ayr, Townsville, and surrounding areas. You will lead and inspire a dedicated team to deliver person-centred care within our SIL Home service, overseeing daily operations, coordinating individualised support, and fostering a positive team culture that empowers both employees and the people we support.

Duties Will Include

• Supporting the financial performance of the SIL Home service site through effective management of operating expenditure in line with budget.
• Ensuring team member awareness of each individual requirement.
• Providing support that aligned to the person’s plans, goals and any other requirements, including but not limited to all aspects of personal hygiene and living skills to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment is provided.
• Delivering and encouraging others in the accurate documentation of all activities to ensure an accurate audit trail and maintenance of progress notes.

What You Can Bring To The Team

• Previous experience in the Disability sector, with complex behaviours and mental health challenges is essential to be considered for this role and relevant qualifications in this field will be highly regarded.
• Experience supervising and leading a team, site operations and delivering services aligned with organisational policies and procedures.
• Proven interpersonal and communication skills and ability to grow relationships with team members and stakeholders.
• Problem solving skills, to successfully identify problems, develop solutions and implement these using a logical and systematic approach.
• A Certificate III in Disability and/or Certificate III in Individual Support will be highly regarded.
• Availability to work some weekends and overnights where required.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), First Aid, CPR, National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work), and an open Driver’s License with comprehensive insurance on your vehicle.
