Job summary

HenderCare is seeking a casual Domestic Assistant (Home Cleaner) to provide cleaning services across ACT North. You will travel to clients’ homes to perform housekeeping tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, bathroom cleaning, laundry, and meal prep assistance while ensuring homes meet the client’s needs.

The role supports elderly and disabled clients and involves managing multiple 1–3 hour shifts daily. The role offers Monday–Friday daytime shifts, weekly pay, and rostering via the AlayaCare

Qualifications

• Must have prior cleaning experience.
• Must be able to attend multiple clients (2-3 per day).
• Casual basis Monday–Friday 9am–5pm.
• Willingness to support elderly and people with a disability.

Responsibilities

• Clean client homes to a hygienic standard (vacuuming, mopping, bathrooms, laundry, ironing).
• Ensure homes are tidy and comfortable per individual needs.
• Travel between clients and manage short shifts (1–3 hours per client).

Job description

HenderCare is seeking an experienced Casual DomesticAssistant(Home Cleaner) to provide services to our clients in their homes across ACT North.

About the role:

You will travel to clients homes to provide basic household cleaning such as vacuuming, mopping, cleaning the bathroom and toilet, bed-making, dishwashing, laundry, ironing, hanging clothes out, assistance with meal preparation, and unaccompanied shopping. You will be responsible for ensuring that service recipients' homes are kept clean, hygienic, and homely according to the individual's needs and wishes. The successful candidate will excel in attending multiple short shifts (1-3 hours per client) with multiple clients.

Must have previous cleaning experience

Must be able to attend multiple clients (2-3 clients per day)

Can work on a casual basis between Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Must have an understanding and willingness to support the elderly and people with a disability
