Job summary

My Guardian Group is expanding its care team in Pakenham VIC and surrounds, recruiting Home Care Workers who deliver compassionate, person-centred support. Staff are prioritized for immediate, regular hours as client rosters grow, with emphasis on dignity, comfort and independence for clients.

You will join a rapidly scaling provider actively building an elite pool of top-tier workers ready to be deployed in new regions.

Qualifications

• Solid background in domestic assistance, community transport or supporting independent living.
• Clear written and verbal communication with families and coordinators.
• Must have or be willing to obtain First Aid & CPR, NDIS Check and Police Check.
• Certificate III in Aged Care / Disability / Individual Support is highly regarded but not mandatory if experience is strong.

Responsibilities

• Provide true companionship and reduce isolation; support emotional wellbeing.
• Assist with personal care, light household duties, cleaning, laundry and meal prep at home.
• Help clients participate in community activities and appointments.

What You’ll Do

You won't just be checking boxes; you’ll be changing lives. Your day-to-day will focus on:

• True Companionship: Building real connections, reducing isolation, and supporting emotional wellbeing.
• Independence at Home: Personal Care, helping with light household duties, cleaning, laundry, and meal prep to keep homes safe and comfortable.
• Community Connection: Getting clients out and about—driving them to social activities, shopping, and vital appointments.

What You Bring to the Team

• Experience in Care: A solid background in domestic assistance, community transport, and supporting independent living.
• Great Communication: The ability to document care accurately and communicate effectively with families and coordinators.
• The Essentials: A valid First Aid & CPR Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and National Police Check (or a willingness to obtain them quickly).
• A Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability, or Individual Support is highly regarded but not mandatory if you have the right experience!
