My Guardian is seeking a Home Care Worker to provide compassionate care in Andergrove, QLD. The role involves companionship, light household tasks, and documenting client needs to support independence and dignity.

Ideal candidates have experience in domestic support, transport assistance, and strong records management. Certifications in First Aid and a Police check are advantageous, with sponsorship and flexible scheduling options available.

Qualifications

• Experience providing domestic assistance including cleaning, laundry, and home safety.
• Experience supporting transport to appointments and community activities.
• Ability to document services and incidents accurately per regulatory requirements.
• Cert III in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus.
• Current First Aid Certificate and police check are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing and reduce loneliness.
• Carry out light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
• Monitor and record changes in clients health or behaviour and report concerns promptly.

Responsibilities of this role will include, but not limited to:

• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing and reduce loneliness.

• Monitor and record changes in clients’ health or behaviour, reporting concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate care records and ensure dignity, privacy, and safeguarding at all times.

Skills, Experiences and Qualifications:

• Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments, shopping, and social activities, promoting independence and community engagement.
• Strong ability to accurately document services provided, record incidents, and complete reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus.
• A valid NDIS Check, or willing to obtain one.
• Current First Aid Certificate, as this is necessary to complete personal care.
• Valid police check, or is willing to obtain one.
