Job summary

Silverchain Group is seeking a dedicated Home Care Worker in Penrith to support older community members in maintaining their independence. The role includes tasks such as housekeeping, meal preparation, and providing social support.

Ideal candidates will have a caring nature, strong relationship-building skills, and some experience in aged care. This casual position offers $41.08 per hour plus other benefits, with opportunities for permanent part-time employment.

Qualifications

• Valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle.
• At least 3-6 months of hands‑on experience supporting clients in a community-based or in-home aged care setting.

Responsibilities

• General housekeeping and making beds.
• Washing, folding and ironing laundry.
• Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
• Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities.

It takes a special person to be a Home Care Worker and help the older members of our community to maintain their home and enhance their wellbeing. We are looking for that person to join the Silverchain team in Penrith and surrounding suburbs.

In Addition, You Will Need
