Silverchain in Liverpool, NSW is seeking a compassionate Home Care Worker to support elderly clients at home, helping with everyday tasks and wellbeing.

You will travel to clients, provide housekeeping, meals, laundry, social support, and transport to activities, while building trusted relationships with families.

The role requires a valid Australian driver’s licence, own insured vehicle, and interest in aged care; CPR/First Aid training is provided.

Formación

• A valid Australian Driver's Licence and own insured, roadworthy vehicle.
• Interest in community care or aged care (3 - 6 months previous experience in a similar role).
• Ability to work independently and find solutions, and know when to ask for help.

• General housekeeping and making beds.
• Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors.
• Washing, folding and ironing laundry.
• Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
• Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities.
• Helping the family carer to have a break or time for other things.

It takes a special person to be a Home Care Worker and help the older members of our community to maintain their home and enhance their wellbeing. We are looking for just that person to join the Silverchain team in Liverpool and surrounding suburbs.

• Are comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your manager for help.

In addition, you will need:

• A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
