Job summary

Mercy Health in Colac Otway Shire is seeking a Home Care Worker on a casual basis to help clients live independently at home through personalised care, domestic support and meal preparation.

You’ll work with a dedicated service team, enjoy flexible hours, and receive a mobile phone as part of the role. A Victorian Driver's Licence and suitable checks are required to join our compassionate team.

Qualifications

• Current Victorian Driver's License.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• NDIS Orientation Module.
• Cert III in Individual Support or higher.
• First Aid Level 2.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to clients at home.
• Deliver domestic assistance and meal preparation.
• Assist with shopping and everyday tasks to support independence.

• Current Victorian Drivers License.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• NDIS Workers Orientation Module
• Relevant Qualification (Cert III Individual Support or above)
• First Aid Certificate (Level 2).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A safe, sensible approach with a practical understanding of people’s physical limitations.
• The ability to be flexible and adapt to meet clients’ individual needs.
