Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a compassionate Home Care Worker in Colac Otway Shire on a casual basis. You will support clients to live independently at home by providing personal care, domestic assistance, assisted shopping and meal preparation.

You will work with a dedicated service team, maintain safety and quality of care, and adapt to each client's unique needs while upholding Mercy Health values.

Qualifications

• Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• NDIS Workers Orientation Module.
• Relevant qualification (Cert III in Individual Support or higher).
• First Aid Certificate (Level 2).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Safe and sensible approach with respect to people's physical limitations.
• Able to be flexible and adapt to meet clients' individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, domestic assistance, shopping support and meal preparation for clients.
• Support clients to live independently at home.
• Work with a dedicated service team to ensure consistent care.
• Prioritise safety and adapt to meet individual client needs.
