Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support clients at home in Geelong and Colac region. You will deliver complex nursing care, develop and implement care plans, and regularly assess consumer needs to ensure high-quality outcomes.

As a leader, you will supervise Enrolled Nurses and Home Care Workers, coordinating with a dedicated care team. Flexibility exists in hours across Monday to Friday, in a casual employment setting.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Experience in home care or aged care is beneficial.
• Excellent clinical, time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex nursing care at home and implement care plans.
• Assess and review consumer care regularly.

About the opportunity

At Mercy Health, each moment, no matter how small, truly matters - and as a Registered Nurse, you'll create cherished moments each day.

You will be an experienced Registered Nurse supporting our clients to live independently at home by providing complex nursing care to meet individual needs, to develop and implement nursing care plans and to assess, review and evaluate consumer care on a regular basis. You will also supervise our Enrolled Nurses and Home Care Workers as required.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in the home care and / or aged care sectors would be beneficial, but is not essential.
• Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
• A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
• The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

• Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Clearance.
• First Aid Certificate that includes CPR.
• Driver Licence.
• Proof of current influenza vaccination.
