Job summary

Rochester and Elmore District Health Service (REDHS) is seeking a Home Care Support Worker in Shepparton VIC. The role supports clients with personal care, domestic tasks, meal prep, shopping and transport while promoting independence and wellbeing.

Candidates may be qualified or currently studying towards relevant certificates, with flexibility to work day, evening, weekends or split shifts. A current driver’s license and clear checks are required.

• Ability to read and interpret consumer Support Plans.

Home Care Support Workers perform a range of duties including Personal Care, Domestic Assistance, Shopping Assistance, Meal Preparation, Respite Care and Transport. Flexible working arrangements will be considered.

The successful applicants will:

Have experience in the community home care sector

Have excellent communication skills to work effectively with colleagues, consumers and their representatives

Have the ability to read and interpret consumer Support Plans

Have the flexibility work day, evening, weekends and occasional split shifts.

You will be required to have:

Certificate III in Home and Community Services, Aged Care, Disability, Individual Support or equivalent

Current Driver's License

Current Police Check, Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
