Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT seeks a Home Care Worker to provide in-home support for elderly clients in and around Tamworth. This permanent part-time role offers flexible hours from Monday to Friday and aims to empower independence in daily living.

Responsibilities include help at home, transport for appointments, personal care, and medication assistance. Requires Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or equivalent and a valid Australian driving license; travel is involved.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in aged or community care preferred.
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.

Responsibilities

• Help at home: housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
• Transport for wellbeing: escort clients to appointments, shopping, and social activities.
• Personal care: assistance with hygiene, dressing, meal support, and medication administration.
