Uniting NSW.ACT invites you to join our Home Care Team as a Permanent Part-time worker in the Eastern Suburbs. In this role you will support elderly clients at home, helping with daily tasks to promote independence and wellbeing.

You will assist with housekeeping, personal care, and transport to appointments, while embracing our values of compassion, respect, and inclusion. A current Australian driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in aged or community care preferred.
• Demonstrates empathy and aligns with Uniting values.
• Ability to drive and access to a vehicle.
• Flexibility to accommodate evolving client needs.

Responsibilities

• Help at home: housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal prep.
• Transport for wellbeing: escort clients to appointments, shopping, and social activities.
• Personal Care: assist with hygiene, showering, dressing, meals, and medications.
