Job summary

St Vincent's Care Services Heathcote is seeking a Home Care Scheduler to join our caring team in Heathcote, NSW. You will coordinate scheduling for home care clients, ensuring timely, person-centred support while collaborating with care teams and other departments.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with standard office hours, in a supportive, not-for-profit environment that values kindness, compassion and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience scheduling staff in community/facility care.
• Experience with scheduling systems Procurra, Kronos and Workday desirable.
• National Police Certificate within last 6 months.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check may be required.
• Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities.
• Certificate/Diploma in Business or scheduling is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Schedule staff for home care services to ensure timely support.
• Coordinate with care coordinators and other departments.
• Maintain accurate attendance and service records.
• Follow care plans and directives from coordinators.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Home Care Scheduler to join St Vincent's @ Home based at our office in Heathcote. Successful applicants will share a genuine desire to care and assist clients with a strong person-centred care focus, whilst working along with other departments within the care services.

This is a full-time position based at our Heathcote Aged Care facility, working Monday to Friday during standard office hours.

Things that work for us:

• Relevant experience in a similar role scheduling staff within a community/facility ensuring prompt and accurate services
  
• Experience with scheduling and attendance systems (Procurra, Kronos and Workday desirable)
  
• High level of customer service skills
  
• The ability to work in a face past high stress role
  
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  
• Ability to assist with administrative tasks as required
  
• Ability to follow directives as per care plan and from coordinator's
  
• Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities
  
• National Police Certificate (within the last 6 months)
  
• NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
  
• Certificate/Diploma Business, Frontline Management or Scheduling desirable but not essential
