Job summary

St Vincent's Care Services Carina is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to partner with residents in daily routines, personal care, and activity engagement within a compassionate, resident-centred team.

You will contribute to a safe, respectful and engaging environment, with access to training, supportive leadership, and a mission-driven workplace at one of Australia’s leading Catholic not-for-profit health providers.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualification required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily routines and personal care per care plan.
• Support residents' lifestyle and choices with compassion.
• Maintain accurate records using AutumnCare.
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) if a check is already valid (under 6 months).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.

Things that work for us

• Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualifications essential
• 6 months+ experience in a similar role with residential aged care experience highly regarded
• Must be available for min. 3 shift a week.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) with ability to maintain excellent records
• Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) - if you already have and it is under 6 months old
• NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
