Job summary

St Vincent’s Care Services Heathcote (John Paul Village) in NSW is seeking a Casual Care Services Employee to partner with residents, support daily routines and ensure they feel safe, valued and engaged. You will provide direct care and assist with activities of daily living as part of a dedicated team.

Prerequisites include Certificate III in Individual Support, at least 6 months' aged care experience, and availability on weekdays.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar essential
• 6 months+ experience in a similar role with residential aged care highly regarded
• Must have availability to work weekdays
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) with ability to maintain excellent records
• Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.

As a Casual - Care Services Employee, you will partner with residents to support their daily routine, lifestyle and choices and ensure they feel safe, valued, respected and engaged. You will provide direct care and assistance to residents with all activities of daily living, personal care needs (including personal hygiene) and attending to the daily running of the household as part of a supportive, dedicated team at St Vincent’s Care Services Heathcote.

St Vincent's Care Services Heathcote (locally known as John Paul Village) is a 213 bed facility located 35km from Sydney's CBD. It is situated next to the Royal National Park, one of Sydney's real treasures!
