Job summary

Intereach in Maryborough, Victoria, seeks a Community Support Worker (Home Care) for a permanent part-time role (minimum 15 hours/week) based on site. You’ll assist older and younger clients to live independently at home, delivering person-centred support tailored to individual goals and needs.

The role includes respite care, personal care, domestic tasks, social support and engagement, meal prep, and documentation. Requires Certificate III in relevant care fields and a driver licence.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience or interest in supporting people with a range of care needs.
• Current Australian Driver Licence and access to a insured vehicle.
• Comfort using a smartphone and basic Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide respite care, companionship, domestic assistance and personal care.
• Support social engagement and community participation.
• Assist with meal preparation and household tasks.
• Maintain accurate records and document participant progress.
