Job summary

Home Assist Community Services in Maryborough, QLD, is seeking a Community Aged Care Support Worker to help local seniors stay independent and comfortable in their own homes.

You will provide social connection, transport to appointments, meal prep, light housekeeping, and respectful personal care, with flexible casual shifts to suit your life. No two days are the same, but every day makes a difference.

Qualifications

• Requires Certificate III in Individual Support or willingness to obtain one.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification.
• National Police Check / NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Australian Driver's Licence and a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide social connection through conversation, companionship and support.
• Transport clients to local appointments, shopping, and community events.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping to maintain a safe home environment.
• Provide respectful personal care including assistance with showering, dressing, and grooming.
