Job summary

Intereach is seeking a Community Support Worker (Home Care) in Echuca, VIC to provide person-centred support to older people in their own homes. The role is permanent part-time (minimum 15 hours per week), onsite, and focuses on helping clients live independently while staying connected to their community.

Responsibilities include respite care, domestic assistance, social engagement, meal preparation, and documenting client progress, with a reablement approach and emphasis on independence.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to provide personal care and domestic assistance.
• Experience supporting older people to maintain independence and wellbeing.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Commitment to person-centred, strengths-based care.
• Current Australian Driver Licence and access to a vehicle.
• Current First Aid and CPR qualifications.
• Comfort using mobile devices and basic Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities
