Fuse Recruitment is recruiting NSW-based Home Assessing Team Leader in Lidcombe for a leading Australian insurer. You will lead, coach and develop a team of Home Assessors to deliver high-quality claims outcomes and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a professional team.
• Home Assessing or residential building experience—essential.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Home Assessing or the Building Industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage performance and develop team capability.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor a team of Home Assessors to deliver high-quality claims outcomes
• Provide technical guidance across scoping, cost validation, compliance and assessment practices
• Monitor team performance against quality, productivity and customer service KPIs
• Manage escalated claims, complaints and complex customer or stakeholder matters
• Drive continuous improvement across Home Claims processes, systems and ways of working
• Identify opportunities to improve cost control, efficiency and overall claims performance
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including builders, restorers and industry partners
• Support capability development, performance management, recruitment and workforce planning
