Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead our highways division in Queensland. You will drive people leadership, strengthen client relationships with TMR and other transport clients, and oversee delivery of major road projects across the state.

You will work closely with Transport leadership to shape strategy, grow the team, and ensure delivery excellence while upholding safety and quality standards. A hybrid work arrangement is available.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Queensland roads and highways sector.
• Experience working with TMR and understanding its requirements, standards, and procurement.
• Experience leading and developing technical teams in an engineering consultancy.
• Strong relationships across the Queensland transport market and ability to build credibility with clients.
• Experience identifying opportunities and supporting business growth.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project performance, resources and budgets.
• Collaborative leadership across teams, disciplines and locations.
• Tertiary qualification in civil engineering; RPEQ eligibility highly regarded.
