Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience estimating 132kV-500kV high-voltage substation projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction and high-voltage infrastructure.
• Experience with tender platforms, including Felix.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
• Proficient in MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Excellent client communication and relationship-management abilities.
• Ability to contribute to business development and tendering activities.
• A current driver's licence and willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for high-voltage substation projects.
• Review project plans, specifications, scopes of work and tender documents.
• Develop detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates and pricing schedules.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, clients and project stakeholders.
• Occasionally visit sites to support project needs.
• Support business development activities and identify new opportunities.
• Attend client meetings and maintain professional relationships.
• Prepare and submit tenders through Felix and other tendering systems.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling and commercial assessments.
