Job summary

ACCIONA delivers major transmission and infrastructure projects in Australia, developing first principles estimates for overhead transmission lines and substations from 66 kV to 500 kV. You will interpret drawings, pricing data and market rates to build competitive tender submissions, working with cross‑functional teams including construction, engineering and procurement.

You will support tender governance, reviews and BAFO responses, ensuring accuracy and cost efficiency across Australian

Qualifications

• HV line and substations knowledge required.
• Proven ability to develop first principles cost models.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel and estimating software/systems.

Responsibilities

• Build first principles cost models for transmission projects.
• Deliver accurate quantity take-offs from drawings and scopes.
• Coordinate RFQs and assess pricing to support bids.
• Maintain and update cost databases for ongoing tenders.
• Define construction methods and rates for tenders.
• Support tender pricing reviews and BAFO responses.
