Job summary

ARA Electrical Engineering Services in Sydney is seeking an experienced High Voltage & ASP Estimator to join our growing team and drive accurate, competitive estimates for major infrastructure projects.

You will review drawings, gather supplier quotes, and coordinate with clients, project managers and delivery teams to deliver winning tender submissions while ensuring technical and commercial compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating within electrical, utilities or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong understanding of high voltage electrical systems and distribution networks.
• Experience pricing high voltage networks.
• Ability to interpret electrical and civil construction drawings.
• Strong commercial acumen and cost management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software packages.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for High Voltage and ASP projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Conduct site inspections and assess project risks and opportunities.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Develop project methodologies, resource schedules and construction programs.
• Liaise with Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy and private network operators.
• Participate in tender clarifications, negotiations and client presentations.
• Assist in maintaining estimating databases and pricing benchmarks.
• Support project handovers to operational teams.
