Job summary

Cedar College is seeking a casual High School Classroom Education Support Officer to foster a supportive and nurturing environment where every student can thrive. You will work under the CANOPY Coordinator and report to classroom teachers to provide targeted student support.

Responsibilities

Support individual or small groups of students on a range of activities as directed by the class teacher.
Assist students in specialist lessons as allocated by the CANOPY Coordinator.
Participate in class excursions, incursions and special events.
Familiarise with lesson content and classroom routines.
Support positive classroom management and reward/consequence systems.
Engage in professional development opportunities and other learning activities.
Undertake other duties as negotiated.
