Job summary

Chemlah Care is recruiting High Intensity Support Workers to assist individuals with mental health and complex care needs in the Goulburn area. You will provide one-to-one, two-to-one or group-based support and contribute to a safe care environment.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, de-escalation techniques and adherence to individual support plans. Travel to participants within surrounding communities, including Yass, may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high-intensity support to people with mental health needs.
• Ability to work one-to-one, two-to-one or in groups.
• Willingness to travel to participants in surrounding communities.

• Supporting participants with complex mental health needs

• Following individual support plans, behaviour support plans and clinical instructions
• Supporting community participation, appointments and daily activities
