Job summary

Successful applicants will demonstrate curriculum knowledge, strong assessment practices and a commitment to student wellbeing and engagement. Two salary ranges apply (Range 1 and Range 2).

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the curriculum and ability to plan literacy and numeracy activities.
• Experience planning high impact teaching strategies and using data to inform practice.
• Experience in monitoring and assessing student learning and providing feedback to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents and colleagues.
• Commitment to professional learning and reflective practice to improve teaching quality.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum and programs.
• Monitor student learning growth and communicate progress to families.
• Engage in collaborative practices with staff and the wider school community.
• Undertake relevant non-teaching duties as required by the school leadership.
