Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Radar Systems Specialist to provide expertise for IAMD sensing capability projects in Canberra. You will drive documentation, workshops, and engineering artefacts for HF and Microwave radar systems, supporting integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment.

The role requires approximately six years of HF/Microwave radar experience, the ability to work autonomously in a small team, and a NV1 security clearance. Location is Canberra with 80 hours per fortnight.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or similar field required.
  • NV1 security clearance required.
  • Location Canberra, Australia (Canberra region) mandatory.
  • Hours: 80 hours per fortnight as agreed with client.
  • Approximately six years of HF and Microwave Radar experience desired.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical advice and support capability development, project milestones and decision-making for HF/Microwave sensing.
  • Develop, integrate, test, deploy and sustain HF/Microwave sensors and sensor networks.
  • Engage with Defence stakeholders, including Force Integration/Design Divisions and DSTG, to align capability development.
