Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in heritage, Native Title, land access or cultural heritage roles within mining, resources or government.
• Strong understanding of WA heritage legislation, Native Title processes and regulatory frameworks.
• Confident communicator with ability to build trust with Traditional Owners and internal teams.

Forrestania Resources is advancing multiple open‑pit gold hubs across Western Australia as we transition into production. To support our growth and ensure responsible, compliant development, we are seeking an experienced Heritage & Native Title Advisor to join our Perth CBD head office.

This role plays a critical part in shaping how Forrestania engages with Traditional Owners, navigates Native Title obligations, and manages heritage considerations across our expanding footprint.

About the Role

The Heritage & Native Title Advisor will lead the coordination, management and execution of heritage, Native Title and land access activities across Forrestania’s gold hubs. You will work closely with exploration, operations, legal and external stakeholders to ensure culturally respectful, compliant and timely project delivery.

I'm also to talk to Senior and Principal level candidates as we have some flexibility in role requirements.

This role suits someone who is proactive, organised and confident engaging with Traditional Owner groups, government agencies and internal teams. You’ll be part of a small, agile organisation where your work directly influences project readiness and operational success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage heritage surveys, clearances and reporting across multiple project areas.
• Coordinate Native Title and land access processes, including agreements, notifications and compliance obligations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Traditional Owner groups, Prescribed Bodies Corporate (PBCs), and heritage consultants.
• Provide advice to exploration and operations teams on heritage constraints, cultural considerations and land access requirements.
• Maintain accurate records, mapping and documentation for heritage and Native Title matters.
• Support regulatory submissions, approvals and compliance reporting.
• Ensure Forrestania’s activities reflect respectful engagement, cultural awareness and best‑practice heritage management.

About You

• Experience in heritage, Native Title, land access or cultural heritage roles within mining, resources or government.
• Strong understanding of WA heritage legislation, Native Title processes and regulatory frameworks.
• Confident communicator with the ability to build trust and work collaboratively with Traditional Owners and internal stakeholders.
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines across diverse locations.
• Practical, solutions‑focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
• GIS or mapping capability (desirable).
• Willingness to undertake site travel as required.
