Job summary

Goldsmith is seeking an experienced General Mechanic to join our maintenance team in Leongatha, Victoria. You will perform scheduled maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a range of heavy vehicles and equipment, ensuring reliability and safety.

Qualifications

Trade qualification as a certified mechanic or equivalent industry experience.
Current High Risk Work Licence - Forklift (desirable).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
Positive, team-oriented attitude with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Reliability, punctuality and proactive approach to tasks.

Responsibilities

Performing scheduled maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on heavy vehicles and equipment.
Identifying, assessing and resolving mechanical issues to ensure reliability and safety.
Following defined scopes of work and maintaining detailed service records.
