Job summary

Grape Co Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Mildura, VIC. This full-time role maintains and repairs our fleet of diesel-powered trucks, tractors and other heavy vehicles to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

You will diagnose engines, perform routine maintenance, replace worn parts, keep detailed service records and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified diesel mechanic with trade certification or equivalent
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills for diesel engines and heavy vehicles
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and document work accurately

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, and repair diesel engines and related systems
• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, filters, fluids
• Service vehicles and ensure work meets manufacturer specs
• Identify faults with diagnostic tools and implement fixes
• Replace worn parts (belts, hoses, sensors, injectors)
• Repair transmissions, brakes, cooling systems and axles
• Maintain service records and safety compliance
• Communicate vehicle condition and maintenance needs to management
• Keep workshop clean and tools organized
