Team Global Express is seeking a Trade Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic in Mackay. This is a Full Time Permanent Position with a competitive hourly rate of $48.02 p/h and weekly tool and laundry allowances.

Join a modern workshop and contribute to servicing a range of heavy vehicles. The successful candidate will perform diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, diesel systems, auto electrical, air conditioning and hydraulic components, in a supportive team environment with

Responsibilities

• Complete general servicing tasks on heavy vehicles.
• Diagnostics, repair and maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic, diesel systems, auto electrical, air conditioning and hydraulic repairs.
• Work in a modern workshop with top‑of‑the‑line diagnostic equipment.
• Supportive and collaborative management to ensure you are supported at all times.

About the role

Team Global Express is seeking a Trade Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic in Mackay

This is a Full Time Permanent Position

Competitive Hourly Rate: $48.02 p/h

The successful applicant will also be eligible for a weekly Tool Allowance & Laundry Allowance

Complete general servicing tasks on Heavy Vehicles. The types of vehicles the team services include Mercedes Benz, Kenworth, Volvo, Isuzu, Fuso, Hino and Freightliner.

Diagnostics, repair and maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic, diesel systems, auto electrical, air conditioning and hydraulic repairs in accordance with requirements detailed on job cards

Supportive and collaborative management to ensure you are supported at all times

Fully Supplied PPE

Work at a Modern workshop with top of the line diagnostic equipment

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Possess a Trade Qualification as a Heavy vehicle Diesel Mechanic minimum certificate (III)
• Demonstrated ability working within a fast-paced environment
• Be able to maintain a high degree of safety and in-line with HSE policies + procedures
• Be able to maintain quality and urgency in your work
