Job summary

Global Express in Mount Isa is seeking a Van Driver to commence immediately at our Depot. This permanent full-time role involves delivering and picking up freight within agreed timeframes and maintaining vehicle safety.

You will hold a valid C Class Licence, have full rights to work in Australia, and demonstrate a safety-first approach. We offer a competitive salary with a location allowance and overtime where applicable, plus development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent time management and the ability to move freight in a safe & timely manner.
• Must have a safety first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently.
• Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Complete deliveries and pick ups promptly and according to time frames.
• Restraining loads safely as well as the correct use of straps and chains where required.
• Complete own vehicle pre-start checks.

The successful applicant will be entitled to 15% Superannuation and a Location Allowance which applies to all ordinary hours worked
