Randstad is seeking Trade Qualified Heavy Vehicle / Diesel Mechanics for ongoing afternoon shift based in Bibra Lake (6163). The role offers a pay rate of $59.41 per hour plus allowances and overtime, with temp-to-perm potential for the right candidates.

Roster is Monday to Friday, 12:30 pm – 9:00 pm, with weekends off. You will perform preventative maintenance, fault-finding, diagnostics, and component overhauls on heavy trucks and plant, and complete work orders in a busy workshop.

Qualificações

• Trade Qualification: Heavy Commercial Vehicle or Heavy Diesel Mechanic certificate.
• Valid HR driver's license (mandatory).
• Proven experience working on heavy trucks.
• Forklift licence is highly regarded.
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.

Responsabilidades

• Preventative maintenance and servicing of heavy trucks and plant.
• Fault-finding across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Repairs and overhauls of engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, axles.
• Move and test heavy vehicles safely in the workshop.
• Complete work orders, logs and parts requisitions.

Randstad is looking for Trade Qualified Heavy Vehicle / Diesel Mechanics for ongoing afternoon shift work based in Bibra Lake (6163).

Duties:

• Preventative maintenance, routine servicing, and inspections on commercial truck fleet and plant.

• Fault-finding and diagnostics across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

• Component repairs and overhauls (engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, axles).

• Moving and yard testing heavy vehicles safely around the workshop perimeter.

• Completing work orders, logs, and parts requisitions.

What you need:

• Trade Qualification: Australian-recognised Heavy Commercial Vehicle or Heavy Diesel Mechanic certificate.

• Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence (mandatory).

• Proven mechanical experience working on heavy commercial trucks.

• Forklift licence (highly regarded).

• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

• Pass a pre-employment medical (PEM) and drug & alcohol screen.

• Current Hep A, B, and Tetanus vaccinations (or willing to obtain).
