Job summary

Rexco People is seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic in St Peters, NSW. The role involves servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy vehicles, plant and equipment, and diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.

You will carry out inspections, use diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools, and complete maintenance records while following safe work practices. The position offers ongoing, full-time hours with weekday shifts.

Qualifications

• Recognised automotive mechanical trade qualification.
• Current NSW Motor Vehicle Tradesperson Certificate.
• Previous post-trade mechanical experience.
• Current NSW Class HR Driver's Licence.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
• Knowledge of workshop safety and WHS requirements.
• Good communication and a reliable, hardworking attitude.
• Full Australian working rights.

Our client based in St Peters, NSW is looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join their team!

Your duties will include:

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing vehicles, plant and equipment
• Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
• Carrying out inspections and preventative maintenance
• Using diagnostic equipment, hand and power tools
• Completing maintenance records and following safe work practices

What's on offer:

• Monday to Friday | 6:30am - 2:00pm
• $54.43 per hour
• Ongoing, full-time hours

To be successful you will need:

• Recognised automotive mechanical trade qualification
• Current NSW Motor Vehicle Tradesperson Certificate
