Job summary
Glencore's Hail Creek operation is seeking a Maintainer Mechanical (HME Breakdown Fitter) to maintain the reliability and performance of our heavy mobile fleet, including haul trucks, excavators, dozers, graders and loaders. You will perform preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance, diagnose faults and carry out repairs to keep production on track.
Working with a supportive maintenance team, you will prioritise safety, follow site procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement
Qualifications
- A recognised Diesel Fitting Trade Qualification.
- Current Australian driver's licence.
- Experience maintaining heavy mobile equipment in mining/heavy industry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with fault-finding and diagnostics.
- Commitment to safety and ability to work independently or in a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on heavy mobile equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs.
- Inspect equipment and ensure compliance with safety and manufacturer specs.
- Work with maintenance team to minimise downtime and improve reliability.
