Job summary

Glencore is seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator (HME) to join the Rolleston Open Cut team. You will lead maintenance activities, ensuring safety, reliability and performance, while maintaining data integrity in our maintenance systems.

The role requires trade qualifications (electrician, fitter or boilermaker), plus leadership experience in field or fixed-plant maintenance, open cut mining exposure, and SAP maintenance systems. A strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as an electrician, fitter or boilermaker.
• Experience leading a field, workshop, or fixed-plant maintenance team (desirable).
• Familiarisation with relevant legislation and experience in open cut mining and coal industry.
• Proven problem-solving skills and drive for continuous improvement of plant performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the maintenance team to sustain safety, availability and reliability.
• Be a proactive, flexible team member with strong work ethic and Rolleston culture.
• Ensure health and safety of people while meeting goals and compliance.
• Maintain onsite maintenance systems and ensure data integrity.
• Liaise with key personnel and share ideas for improvements.
• Identify, assess and control workplace hazards.
